I live in an apartment and want to put one of those pens or pet gates to divide the room. I’m more attracted to the idea of getting a octagonal pen in to keep the dog away from the walls while I’m gone.
But I’ve also been looking at the Superyard pens people normally get for their kids. My concern is if a boston could jump out of the pen, the Superyard stands only 26.5 inches tall. Anyone have any experiences with such products?

What are the odds of a “nation”(like China) Biochemical company genetically engineering foods to “make us sick” later? A military with kidney shut down is pretty useless. A war without firing a shot would be over fast.

We already know the FDA is completely incompetent so it would be easy to infiltrate the food supply with a bunch of GM crap, kinda like they just did.

Or are the pharaceutical companies, the largest industry in the world, planing a hughe market increase?

I’m searching for an extra wide baby or pet gate to seperate our kitchen and living room. 81 1/2 inch wide opening. I can’t use any mesh because of our 3 dogs and I’d prefer something with a swing door. Anyone have any ideas? I’d prefer not to spend a ton, but I’ve got a feeling I’ll end up going of $ 100 dollars. One Step Ahead has a variety of gates. My cousin just had my Uncle make one using several gates sold at garage sales (had the right slat width) combined.

When my friend died, this girl took pictures of him inside his open casket && posted them on MySpace.

Up until today I thought this was kind of morbid && weird, buht I never said anything to her.

Well today I was thinking about how much I miss him && I was wishing I had a grave to go visit or something.

His family was kind of secretive so we never found out what happened to his body after the viewing. His brother had mentioned something about creamation, buht we never found out exactly what happened.

ANYWAYY, I went back on that girls MySpace && looked at those pictures of him in his casket. I mean, it was really hard to see him like that AGAIN, buht at the same time I feel like I kinda needed to see that.

Is this weird of me?

My guinea-pig that i’ve had for 5.5 years died sometime yesterday.
I woke up today, found her, and put her in the fridge.
She was flat down, and face up. Her eyes were wide open.
I found out a necropsy is too expensive, so we’ll do a cremation.
It was 100-200 USA dollars. I wish I had the money.

I want a cremation for her.
I will write her a note and connect t to the bottle.

But how does a cremation work? The vet said they can do one.
Have you ever had a pet cremated? They turn it into a cream?
Do they give you an urn?

How do you feel about cremation an what’d you do when your pet died?
So they just give you the ashes in a plastic baggie?

My mother buys her goldfish from the same pet shop, without fail. Her fish die about every six months – like clockwork! I am sure she looks after them, yet there they go, floating to the top!

Could it be that the pet shop have bred goldfish with short lifespans to make more money???

What is up with this? www.TheDogFoodConspiracy.com It tells us, and then attempts to sell his book on it, that commercial pet food killed his dog. I listened to his 8 min blurb and he sounds reasonable and convincing. So how do I find out the truth or do I find some good home made recipes for my five pets!! Yikes, I have enough feeding my family of four. I will do it if it is true, but I really want to make sure. Scary.

I can’t get that web page to load, but it sounds like a way for this guy to make money to me. Sure we would all love to be able to make our dogs homemade food like we do for the rest of our family, but not everyone has enough time in a day to do that! I have been feeding my dog regular dog food for years and she is still here. Unless you have the time to cook up natural things for your dog, the best that you can do is do your research and get them the best dog food that you can buy, if you can afford it.

I would like to build a simple pet gate for a six foot opening. It is for my front porch, so it needs to be somewhat wheather resistent. My dogs are large; German Shepherds. So it needs to be tall enough to be effective. However, the gate will not be used to contain the dogs unattended. Just need something for when we are all lounging on the porch on lazy summer days.
Any advice?

6 feet? are u sure, u want it to be that big? i mean… 6 feet. I’m not 6 feet tall!

Keep in mind that your dogs WILL crawl their way out, if they want to get out.

Now assuming we are down to a couple feet high, 1.5 feet wide should be enough.

How about you cut the door on the side or at the center, put a couple of hinges for swivel? ( don’t forget to allow a locking mechanism)
